Spiritual Direction Fees are not included. They are always negotiable. The usual offering is $30-$50 a session.

Partial tuition scholarships are available for persons who are unable to attend SAT without financial assistance.

Health Insurance

Complete health insurance coverage is required. For those who are not covered by their religious community, diocese or personal health insurance plan, Kaiser insurance is available through the Graduate Theological Union.

The cost for 2011-2012 is $1014.78 per semester. This plan may be more reasonable than foreign health insurance plans which do not cover doctor visits and prescriptions.

Upon acceptance to the SAT Sabbatical program, a non-refundable registration fee is required to guarantee your place at SAT. This fee is deductible from the tuition fees. The registration fee for fall and winter/spring participants is $500 and for two semester participants, $800. The remainder of the tuition is due the first day of the program.
