Prayer in Chaos, Change, Commotion and Clutter

Presented by Kathy Coffey
Are you too busy to pray? Yet do you long for a spiritual center that gives meaning and depth to even the craziest days? At the same time we know the need for prayer, we also face tremendous constraints on time.  Let’s explore how to live in an intimacy with Christ that transforms ordinary ways and places. People who work for social change are vulnerable to discouragement and burn-out. But reflective practices, woven through the day’s fabric, can free us from fear.  We’ll consider what recent brain research shows about the effects of meditation on neural pathways. Finally, we’ll see how the saints give human faces to these theories.
