The School of Applied Theology (SAT)

SAT offers a holistic Sabbath experience to laity, priests, deacons, and men and women religious, who live locally and who come from around the world, seeking attentive rest, theological renewal, and spiritual transformation.

We offer courses in contemporary theology—spirituality, mysticism, cosmology, scripture, the arts, and personal development—for a day, a week, a month, or a semester or two, from leading presenters who come to SAT from the Bay Area and across the United States.  Through study, reflection, integration, contemplation, and prayer, SAT provides a learning environment that seeks to apply theology and spiritual practices to work, ministries, and life.
